Once highly rated by Golf Digest, Wallace Adams is a Georgia State Parks course that offers obstacles and risk-reward opportunities. There are more interesting courses with lower green fees in the area, McDonald writes, but Wallace Adams stays busy, and most golfers seem to leave satisfied. With a 128 slope rating from the tips, the course provides numerous scoring opportunities while giving golfers a solid challenge.
For golfers who enjoy other outdoor activities, the park offers a 265-acre lake with plenty of beach access. Hiking trails, tennis courts, picnic areas and several other state parks nearby help make Wallace Adams a good place to keep in mind when traveling with family in northern Florida and southern Georgia area.
